• The end of March marks the start of tulip season and travellers will flock to Keukenhof and fields around to see the colourful displays.

• For a less busy alternative to Keukenhof you can also cycle through tulips fields around Keukenhof and Lisse.

  Some big events in The Netherlands in March 2020 are:

  • Keukenhof - 20th of March till 10th of May - Spectacular outdoor flower displays. Be sure to get tickets up front, it gets really crowded.

  • TEFAF Maastricht - 7th till 15th of March - TEFAF Maastricht is widely regarded as the world's premier Fair for fine art, antiques and design, covering over 7,000 years of art.
